The next HCASC meeting is being held Wednesday, February 12 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Homewood Center. This month's meeting will focus on Summer Leadership and Volunteer Opportunities, featuring guest speakers and application tips. All middle and high school students interested are invited to attend.

At all HCASC meetings, students have the opportunity to:

• Work with student leaders from around the county
• Meet with the Student Member of the Board of Education
• Gain leadership skills
• Turn ideas into action
• Learn about community service opportunities
• Practice civic engagement and serve as informed citizens
